Villa Magnolia - Description

Villa Magnolia is a charming two-story villa surrounded by the vegetation of the Coast of Sorrento. It sleeps ten people. From Villa Magnolia you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and of the small Li Galli islands. Villa Magnolia is 240 square meters (2600 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, two nice private terraces with a view of the sea, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be roughly 800 meters (half a mile) from Colli di Fontanelle, where you will find restaurants and the shops. You will find the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Sorrento line at 80 meters (roughly 260 feet). You will reach Villa Magnolia from the parking area going down a short walkway that cuts through the garden and includes approximately 15 stairway steps.

For a succesful stay at Villa Magnolia we recommend having a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, inside the entrance gate.

Villa Magnolia is built on a high rocky peak from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view that overlooks the sea, it is discreet and therefore does not spoil the extraordinary natural beauty of the place.

When you are standing on the terraces, you will realise that you have found, at last, the perfect place you have been searching for to spend your holidays: in front of you there is the wide horizon of the sea and sky, beneath you the emerald green of the coastline and the unmistakable shape of the Li Galli isles.

As from up here you are 200 meters (220 Yards) above sea level, your eyes sweep over steep headlands and pinnacles of rock that protrude from the sea. It is a dizzying experience, therefore when you first arrive you may want to take a minute to get your breath back.

This view extends across the most wild and unspoiled part of the Amalfit Coast. There is peace and tranquility, the air is pure and clear, and although you may feel as if you are in another world, the festive holiday atmosphere of the coast is only just around the corner.

A few steps from the entrance to the villa there is a well-known viewpoint that caters to people who want to stop and enjoy the panorama, one of the most beautiful views on the coast. From here starts the famous path for walkers called the Sant' Elia Path, which descends towards the sea through bushes and the typical flora of the Mediterranean maquis, and offers you incomparable glimpses of the panorama. The path, once used by the inhabitants to reach the sea, leads you to an old abandoned fisherman’s hut on a peak overlooking the sea.

The owner has lovingly furnished the house for his family with antiques and valuable locally crafted furniture. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you will feel like welcome guests in a real Italian home. Your stay at Villa Magnolia will allow you to enjoy a holiday in a natural environment of extreme beauty while at the same time being able to spend a peaceful, relaxing and refined time.

You will be able to go to the famous beaches around the Sorrento Coast, go shopping for the latest fashions and quality-controlled local products such as expensive wines from the Amalfi Coast, Limoncello and pottery. You can attend many village cultural shows that include folklore, art and music, and take place throughout the year. For whoever wants to enjoy an intense nightlife, the Coast gives a great choice ranging from piano bars to exclusive nightclubs.
